Ever been to a fancy restaurant and paid a lot of money for a cheese platter? I have. The thing about these platters is they can be very easy to do at home. Next time someone asks you to bring something to their dinner party, wow them with an amazing spread. The items you can put on your plate are endless.
The Must Haves
I ALWAYS like to have at least 3 great cheeses from different families.
I alsways like to make crostini. Having a crispy toast to eat you cheese with will work out a lot better than slices of raw bread.
How To Start
Make sure you make your crostini our of really good bread. I recommend a baguette so you can cut even round slices. Unfortunately, this time around my boyfriend bought a french loaf instead of a baguette. This is still fine… just less consistent. It was only us eating anyways
Make sure you cut the bread into even pieces. Drizzle then with Olive Oil, and add salt and pepper. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 7 minutes. Once done, arrange on a platter.
For this particular cheese plate, I made roasted Garlic. For those of you who do not know how to make it, it is simple…
